2-Day Program
Two days in alpine terrain with overnight in a refuge or winter camp, depending on conditions and the selected itinerary.
2-Day Ski Touring Program
The two-day ski touring program in El Chalten allows access to more alpine terrain in Southern Patagonia, combining sustained ascents, quality descents, and a complete mountain experience with an overnight stay. It is ideal for skiers looking for a deeper outing than a single-day program.
Depending on weather, snow stability, and the group’s objectives, the program is organized around two main options within Los Glaciares National Park and the Fitz Roy massif. One option takes place in the Cerro Creston Valley with an overnight stay in a mountain refuge, while the second explores the Laguna de los Tres and Cerro Madsen area with a winter camp at Poincenot.

What the Experience Is Like
Before departure, we meet in El Chalten to check equipment, assess the skiing level, and define the most suitable itinerary according to weather and snow conditions. Over the two days, the program moves through broad valleys, open slopes, and alpine terrain, combining efficient ascents with descents adapted to the group.
Compared with a single-day outing, the overnight structure allows access to longer descents, more remote sectors, and a stronger alpine rhythm in the mountains.
Why Choose This Program
– Access to more remote and varied alpine terrain.
– Two itinerary options adapted to weather, level, and objectives.
– Ideal for skiers looking for a fuller mountain experience in El Chalten.
