Snow Science and Ski Touring
Terrain assessment, trip planning, risk management, and safety.
Pax: 1 to 4 people
Duration: 2-4 days
Difficulty: Beginner to advanced
Recommended time: June to October
I offer mountain skills and safety training designed for outdoor athletes who want to move more confidently and safely in alpine terrain. These courses focus on developing technical skills, mountain judgment, and decision-making, and are not professional guide training programs.
Training takes place in real mountain environments, combining theory with extensive hands-on practice. The focus is on decision-making, risk management, and safe progression, using methodologies that I apply both in my guided expeditions and in my own athletic practice.
Some programs include avalanche awareness training, glacier travel techniques in Patagonia, and backcountry safety skills for ski touring and mountaineering environments.
I work with small groups and custom-designed courses, adapting content to each participant's experience level and objectives.
